Four friends English story, moral story

Once in a small village there were four Brahmins named Satyananda, Vidyananda, Dharmanand and Shivanand. They grew up together to be good friends. Satyananda, Vidyananda and Dharmanand were very knowledgeable. But most of Shivanand's time was spent eating and sleeping. Everyone considered them fools.

Once there was a famine in the village. All crops failed. Rivers and lakes started drying up. People from villages started moving to other villages to save their lives.

Satyananda said, "We also need to move to another place soon. They all agreed with him.

"But what about Sivananda?" Asked Satyananda.

Dharamananda said, "Do we need him with us? He doesn't have any skills or learning. We can't take him with us." "He will be a burden on us."

Vidyananda said, "How can we leave him behind? He has grown up with us." "We will share what we ever earn equally among the four of us."

They all agreed to take Shivanand with them.

He packed all the essentials and set out for the nearby city. On the way, they had to cross a forest.

As they were passing through the forest, they came across the bones of an animal. They became curious and stopped to watch the bones up close.

"They are the bones of a lion," Vidyananda said.

The rest of the people agreed.

"This is a great opportunity to test our learning," Satyananda said.

"I can put bones together." Saying so, he made the lion's skeleton by bringing the bones together.

"Dharmanand said," I can put muscle and tissue on it. "Soon a lifeless lion appeared in front of them.

"I can blow my life in that body." Vidyananda said.

But before he could move on, Shivanand leaped to stop him. "No. If you kill that lion, it will kill all of us," he cried.

"You're a coward! You can't stop me from testing my skills and education," shouted an angry Vidyananda. "You are here only with us because I have requested others to allow you to come along."

"Then let me climb that tree first. 'The three Brahmins attacked and killed him.
