Do you know Japanese favorite food? They love sushi! Sushi is nothing but raw fish sliced into various shapes and sizes.
Of course, fresh produce are delicious aren't they? The Japanese loved to eat fresh fish. The market for fresh fish in Japan became so large that fishermen made a good income catching fresh fish.
Weeks and months passed! Fishermen were unable to get fresh fish quickly. They took their boats to greater distances at sea. The fishing boats grew up to feed the fish lovers and the fishermen went far to fetch fresh fish. Since they traveled for several days to obtain fish, it took more days for the fishermen to return home. The fish lost its freshness, and Japanese consumers did not like the taste of the fish which was not refreshing.
Fish companies tried to solve this problem and installed freezers to keep the fish fresh. They put freezers in boats to keep the fish fresh. Unfortunately, frozen fish could not meet the taste profile of the Japanese, who always preferred to eat the fish fresh.
Of course, the taste of fresh foods and frozen foods varies greatly!
Subsequently, the fishing companies placed large tanks of fish in the boat. Soon after the fishing by the fishermen, they were put into the fish tank and kept alive. The fishes filled in the tanks, as they crawled around for a while and became sluggish in the tanks. Also, some fish died in tanks, which also ruined other fish!

The fishing companies dumped the caught fish directly into the fish tanks mounted on the boats. However, he made a small change. They also included a small shark in the fish tank. This kept the fish very active and kept them fresh!
