Apple tree and Farmer | English story
Once upon a time, a farmer lived in a village in a forest. He had a large garden with an old apple tree and other plants, trees and beautiful flowers. When the farmer was a little boy, he spent most of his time playing with the apple tree. In those days, the apple tree gave him the best apple feed. However, as time passed, the apple tree became old and stopped bearing fruit.
Now that the farmer was not getting any apple from the tree, he decided that the tree was useless. Therefore, they decided to cut the tree and use its wood to make some new furniture. He felt that since the tree was old and huge, it did not have to be fixed, and it would make great furniture. He forgot that as a boy, he had spent his entire childhood climbing trees and eating his apples.
Now the apple tree was home to many small animals in the neighborhood. It included squirrels, sparrows and a large variety of birds and insects. When the farmer took his ax to climb the tree, all the small animals came running.
They all begged the farmer. He gathered the farmer and said "Please don't cut down the tree. We used to play with you when you were little, under this very tree. This is our house and we have no other place to go".
The farmer was adamant. He raised his ax and the commotion grew.
"Please do not cut and destroy my house and children," cried the squirrel.
"Please do not bite and destroy my nest," cried the little birds.
"Please don't cut the apple tree," Locust called.
The farmer, however, forgot his childhood and his animal friends. He started pruning the tree vigorously. All the small animals became desperate, and wanted to protect the apple tree at any cost.
The little animals said, "We will sing for you while you are defecating in the fields. We will take care of your little boy. He will not cry, but you will be entertained and happy. You will like and feel our songs." tired."
However, his cry for help fell on deaf ears. Despite all his requests, the farmer kept cutting down the tree.
Suddenly, he saw something shiny. Upon inspecting it, he realized that it was a bee, filled with honey. He took a little and put it in his mouth. The taste of honey arouses the little boy in it. Suddenly, memories of his childhood returned. The honeymoon tasted so good that he wanted more. It brought a feeling of happiness to him. "It tastes amazing," he said smiling.
Feeling a change in the farmer's attitude, the small animals spoke together: the bee said, "I'll always provide you with sweet honey." The squirrel said, "I will share as many nuts as I like." The birds cried out, "We will sing as many songs as we want."
In the end, the farmer realizes his stupidity, and turns his ax down. He understood that the tree is home to many lovely animals that provide him with lots of things. He wanted his little boy to have the childhood he had.
The farmer realized that the apple tree was not that fruitless. In it, the little boy saved the apple tree.
He threw the ax and said to the younger creatures, "I promise I will never cut down this tree. I realize my mistake and all of you can live in peace and harmony now."
The little creatures thanked the bee. If the farmer had not got a bee, he would have been homeless by now. They were living happily in the old apple tree.
Moral: Every living thing in nature is of some use: we should not destroy any living thing.
